ALPA President to Underscore Measures that Safeguard Fair Competition and a Free Market for All Airlines and Workers in the Global Marketplace

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Capt. Tim Canoll, president of the Air Line Pilots Association, Int’l (ALPA), will address the International Aviation Club of Washington, D.C., on Wednesday, May 20, 2015, to highlight the distortion of the global marketplace caused by subsidies to the big 3 Middle East airlines; ALPA’s defense of the U.S. airline industry against unusual “pay to fly” and other offshore business and employment practices; and additional critical issues facing the U.S. aviation industry.
