2022 PRESIDENTIAL CITATION

For more than 25 years, Capt. John White has supported pilots during difficult circumstances as a committee member and vice chair of the United pilot group’s Critical Incident Response Program (CIRP).

In his CIRP role, Capt. White has provided countless hours of support to supporting pilots facing difficult and challenging events. He approaches each crew with a non-judgmental attitude.

In all his work, Capt. White has been quick to recognize his fellow volunteers while always focused on supporting pilots.
