Our Leadership

Every two years, the United MEC elects a slate of four officers to serve the pilots of United Airlines. Captain Todd Insler, a 25-year veteran of United Airlines, is serving his third term as chairman. A longtime ALPA volunteer, Captain Insler previously held positions as MEC Grievance Committee chairman and vice chairman.

Captain Tom Murphy, based in Washington D.C., is serving his second term as vice chairman of the United MEC. Captain Murphy held the positions of LOSA observer, SPSC member, and Council 34 rep before taking on his role as vice chairman. Captain Bill Neveu, currently based in Denver, is serving his third term as secretary. His career began in the Air Force, and he has previously served as a Council 93 rep and MEC Membership Committee chairman. Captain Rick Cameron, also Washington, D.C.-based, is serving his third full term as treasurer. Once a Council 11 Rep, Rick began his career in the Navy and is now also serving as the IFALPA Executive Vice-President Administration Membership and Finance.
