Enter the ALPA Photo Contest

A great chance to unleash all your talent as a photographer

The Air Line Pilots Association is conducting a photo contest. Any member in good standing may participate. Both digital shooters and film lovers may enter the contest. Photos will be judged in three categories:

First-place contest entries from each category will receive $100, will be published in Air Line Pilot, and will have a chance to win the best-in-show grand prize of $500.

General rules

The contest has no entry fee. A panel of judges will select the winner based on a review of all eligible entries. The winner will be notified via mail and e-mail. If the winner does not respond to our mail and claim the prize within 90 days, the prize may be forfeited. Winners are responsible for all applicable federal, state, or local taxes. Contestants are limited to 10 photos each. No photo that has previously been published may be entered.

No entries mailed after the deadline will be entered into the contest. Images will be judged on creativity and overall photographic and artistic quality. The judges’ decisions on all matters relating to the competition are final.

Winners

Contest winners will be announced in the June/July issue of Air Line Pilot. The grand prize will be determined by an on-line vote of all ALPA members during the summer of 2004 and will be announced on the ALPA website, www.alpa.org, and at the ALPA Board of Directors meeting in October.
