DAL Pilots Sign Joint Venture Protocol Agreement |
|
|
Delta
pilots, including MEC
chairman Capt. Kingsley
Roberts, traveled to
Rome to sign a pilot
protocol agreement among
the Air France, KLM,
Alitalia, and Delta
pilots with respect to
their airlines’
transatlantic joint
venture.
The
agreement ensures
cooperation among the
pilot groups and a
mutual commitment to
maintain a fair share of
flying for each pilot
group in the joint
venture. The agreement
also contains important
provisions regarding
mutual assistance,
information exchange,
and production balances.

Piloti Aviazione
Commerciale; Jean-Louis

France pilots, as

Ligne, Air France ALPA;
and Kingsley Roberts,

One of the most
effective ways ALPA
pilots garner influence
with the U.S. political
community is through our
political action
committee: ALPA-PAC. By
pooling donations from
ALPA members, we are
able to help elect
pro-pilot members of
Congress who support our
union’s legislative
agenda regardless of
political affiliation.
Our goal is to ensure a
pro-pilot majority in
the House and the
Senate. ALPA-PAC also
helps educate members of
Congress about who we
are, what issues are
important to us, and how
Congress’s decisions
affect our lives.
ALPA-PAC is funded
100 percent by voluntary
contributions from ALPA
members. No dues money
is used for political
contributions. Every
year, thousands of ALPA
members demonstrate
their commitment to the
PAC and its goals
through their
contributions. Some make
annual donations by
personal check or
credit card. Others
sign up for
ALPA-PAC checkoff—the
easiest and most
efficient way to
contribute.
ALPA-PAC is your
voice in D.C. and across
the country. If you have
concerns about the PAC
or have a candidate you
believe we should
support,
let us know. All of
our decisions are
informed by ALPA
members, and your input
is an essential part of
the process.

The
Air Line Pilots
Association Federal
Credit Union was
established in 1947 as a
member-owned financial
institution serving
airline pilots and their
immediate family
members.
Because it is a
not-for-profit
organization, after
payment of expenses and
provisions for reserves,
the credit union returns
all of its income to the
members in the form of
share dividends and low
rates on loans. To learn
about the many services
the ALPA Credit Union
offers, go to
