ALPA Congratulates U.S.-based Norwegian Air Shuttle Flight Attendants on Voting to Join AFA-CWA

ALPA congratulates the U.S.–based flight attendants at Norwegian Air Shuttle for securing a voice for their future through representation with Association of Flight Attendants–CWA. This is a positive step forward for these cabin crews and we look forward to working with them in the future on issues affecting our industry. While we support the flight attendants at Norwegian Air Shuttle, ALPA continues to adamantly oppose service to the United States by the airline’s subsidiary, Norwegian Air International, because its business model violates the U.S.–EU Air Transport Agreement and undermines labor standards and fair competition.

Founded in 1931, ALPA is the largest airline pilot union in the world and represents over 55,000 pilots at 32 U.S. and Canadian airlines. Visit the ALPA website at www.alpa.org or follow us on Twitter @WeAreALPA.
