Former ALPA President Capt. John Prater’s Retirement Flight

Today, ALPA friends and staff gathered to celebrate the extraordinary career of former president Capt. John Prater, who flew his final flight into IAD yesterday. Since 1978, Capt. Prater has been an avid pilot representative and a faithful steward of the piloting profession. On behalf of 55,000 pilots across North America, we remain grateful for the contributions Capt. Prater made to making ALPA a stronger union and wish him all the best in his retirement. Thank you, Capt. Prater.
