December 13, 2011 - ALPA president Capt. Lee Moak on December 2 formally approved the appointment of Capt. Fred Eissler (FDX) as the Association’s new Aviation Security chairman. The MD-11 pilot now heads the security branch of ALPA’s Air Safety Organization.
