Call to Action: Support One Level of Safety - Tell the President to Release the FT/DT Rule Now!

August 10, 2011 – A final rule on pilot flight/duty and rest rules was required by Congressional mandate on August 1, 2011. To date, the rule is stalled because of pressure by certain segments of our industry who are petitioning the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to derail the rule. ALPA pilots are urged to make their voice heard and tell the President to promote One Level of Safety.
